Farland
The FARLAND network specializes in integrated land development and is built on a group of organisations, brought together in the EU Interreg IIIC project FARLAND.
Most organisations involved wanted to maintain a more structural network as this is beneficial for each of the members. It involves organisations from the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Hungary and Lithuania. In addition, the network is supported by the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). The FARLAND network is organised informally, action oriented and has an open attitude towards new members.
DLG has initiated the network and functions as network manager.
