• Trough bilateral and multilateral funding, we develop partnerships with foreign governments and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs). Sustainable rural development and achieving public government goals are always our main goals.
• DLG is active in the field of policy advice, institutional strengthening and capacity building for organizations involved in rural development.
• We offer knowledge and experience to government organizations by applying learning-by-doing procedures and training and advice to build capacity.  
• We act as an intermediary between government and the rural community, balancing the interests of farmers and residents, local authorities, water boards, nature conservationists and others.
• DLG has built an extensive network of people, companies and organizations worldwide at national, regional and local levels. This creates opportunities for the exchange of practical solutions, sharing of knowledge and cooperation.
